The New Different: 2020 re-vision
In an effort to streamline and adapt our resources for the businesses & organizations we represent, I’ll be hosting occasional video installments that communicate the latest & greatest ground efforts from our Ecosystem Leadership Partners & sponsors, as we navigate the months ahead.
The featured Story today is an exclusive interview with the founder & owner of Mellow Velo Bikes here in Santa Fe, David Bell. (included in video above)
I first want to bring you up to speed on what’s going on with CitySwivel.
On March 15, I made the decision to suspend all normal operations of the CitySwivel mobile application & client interface website.
As many of you may know, the CitySwivel app is designed to move locals & tourists around town and into local businesses, food & beverage establishments, events, parks & recreation and other area attractions.
For this reason, I made the decision to deactivate the self guided experience functionality & our navigation from the deployed app, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I also suspended access to our client interface website, until we have a comprehensive process & green light from state & local authorities that we are clear to re-launch all of our technology back into the Santa Fe marketplace, and general use for locals & visitors.
So at this time, please refrain from using, installing or promoting the CitySwivel application. There will be a formal announcement when we can begin using the app again in the future.
In the interim, I am gratified to announce that we are moving forward and have a few incredible additions to the CitySwivel organization.
At the executive level, we have a new Director of Operations & new Chief Technology Director. A formal announcement & introduction will be released in the coming weeks...but first, I want to introduce & welcome to the CitySwivel team Jude Karolick Garshon, our new Business Relations Coordinator in Santa Fe.
Jude recently retired as the Visitor Services Coordinator from Tourism Santa Fe, and brings a wealth of experience, warmth & vitality to our organization and I am absolutely humbled and honored to have her join our team.
I’m sure a lot of you probably know her, but if you don’t, I will have her on in the next few weeks so keep watching!
You can also reach out to Jude via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and set up a time to talk either by phone or mask to mask, when the time is appropriate, of course.
Our other partners are utilizing this time to aggressively rebuild our technology by implementing new “wishlist” functionality and well as state of the art security, safety and scalability protocols. While I do not have an official date for the new release, I anticipate at least 3 months and at the longest 6 to complete.
We have put all of our business contracts on freeze and will honor the full terms of service once we resume normal operations.
We are in this together,
Daniel Link President & Co-Founder, CitySwivel
